Vision et Mission
Vision
La vision de la SPDH est orientée vers la transformation positive de la société burundaise et cherche à contribuer à édifier « une société burundaise suffisamment transformée et orientée vers plus de justice, égalité des genres, de paix et de réconciliation, en marche vers un développement durable et intégral ».
Mission
Les principales missions de la SPDH concourent à la préparation d’un avenir meilleur et sont :
• Renforcement des capacités des membres et de la population via les relais communautaires;
• Egalité des genres et la promotion des femmes et les personnes les plus vulnérables (les handicapes et les autochtones);
• Appui socio-économique des personnes les plus vulnérables et les Orphelins ;
• Promotion de l’insertion et l’intégration socio-économique des ex-combattants démobilisés;
• Lobbying et plaidoyer en faveur de la prise en compte des besoins des communautés à la base dans les politiques sectorielles ;
• Education de la population à la citoyenneté et aux valeurs démocratiques (Education civique et électorale, Education à la lutte contre la corruption, etc.) ;
• Construction de la paix et promotion de la réconciliation ;
• Protection de l’environnement ;
• Lutte contre le SIDA et promotion de la santé des populations;
• Promotion du Volontariat chez les membres de l’organisation ;
• Encadrement des jeunes élèves et étudiants pour la promotion de la paix.
